About Me

I'm a tenured professor of biology with 15 years of higher education experience. My expertise allows me to teach a variety of fundamental to advanced topics in biology to bio majors, pre-meds, and interested learners. I am primarily a physiologist specializing in human anatomy and physiology, organismal physiology, sensory physiology, and behavioral neuroendocrinology. A teaching talent that separates me from the pack is my ability to break down difficult subject matter into smaller chunks and use analogy and plain language to explain things before adding in jargon or scientific terminology. I also shine at using application and relevant real examples to highlight and reinforce learner's understanding of the topics I teach.
