Hello! I have expertise across a wide range of fields — from knitting to marketing — and I would be so excited to share my knowledge with you! Me in a nutshell: I'm an award-winning communications specialist with almost 15 years of experience in marketing and communications. I also own a successful small business called Comma Craft Co, where I focus on my absolute favorite creative outlet: fiber arts. I *love* teaching knitting and crochet. Me in a bigger nutshell: - 15 years of professional marketing and communications experience with special expertise in branding, social media, graphic design and accessibility - bachelor's degree summa cum laude and master's degree in English literature, both from top 20 public universities - years of experience teaching adults, from community college and undergraduate students to older adults looking to learn a craft - more than a decade of experience being a crafter - knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, cross stitch, macrame, you name it! - owner of Comma Craft Co, a one-person small business providing the fiber masses with fun notions and accessories via wholesale, marketplace facilitators and more - years of expertise in community building, diversity advocacy, conflict resolution and other interpersonal/relationship-building issuesI I am especially passionate about: - proofreading and editing - brand design for nonprofits and small businesses, from small projects to full branding packages (contact me for samples!) - content creation for web, email marketing or social media, especially creating a system/templates that work best for your needs - 1:1 marketing coaching for creative small business owners (especially fellow neurodivergent owners!)
