About Me

Hello there! My name is Ida Zuniga and I have been serving families for the past 14 years via the outpatient, homehealth, telehealth, and most recently the education setting. My favorite part of what I do has always been assisting families in navigating very challenging scenarios using positive parenting strategies, elements of ABA, and providing education about child development and speech/language delays. My approach is always to read the child and determine what is the best intervention according to how they respond, their developmental skills, and what motivates them. No one child is alike, therefore when discussing intervention plans, each child will have their own tailored to their own needs. As your parenting coach, my focus is to mentor and guide you through this process. I can model, send you videos, write down steps; whatever is easiest. It is important that you as the parent are able to continue providing the recommended plan at home to decrease maladaptive behavior and report back to the coach (me) to make adjustments as needed. I am excited to begin this journey with you! If there is a specific area you need help with, just ask! I work with all ages 1-18 with special needs and Autism being my specialty :)
