About Me

I am an animal trainer with 50 years experience as a Dog Trainer, classes, private lessons, and day training. I established and run my own dog training company.I have trained over 3,000 dogs. I am a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and AKC Trick Evaluator. I also have written and implement a 4-H program for dog training. I am on the board for a local Humane Society and am on the board for a local AKC dog club which runs a yearly AKC Dog Show. I also have 10 years as a zoo animal trainer, where I was responsible for developing and implementing multiple training programs for captive wild animals. I am a force-free, positive-reinforcement, operant-conditioning, trainer. I have successfully trained others both in the zoo and canine training profession.. I wrote the curriculum and taught at a University, the Animal Healthcare Program for Special Needs Students. I also recruited local animal related businesses and supervised student participation to support the AnimalHealth Care Program.
