About Me

I have been knitting since the age of 9, which in my case means A Very Long Time. I've taught in the past at local craft stores. I design and create garments, accessories, and toys. And I am constantly trying new projects and techniques. Not only can I teach you how to knit but also how to understand your knitting, allowing you to become a confident artisan. I teach how to "read" your work, a skill which allows you to sort out questions such as: why does this weird mistake keep happening? When I set this UFO (unfinished object) down 3 years ago, where was I in the pattern? I just noticed I messed something up six rows ago; do I have to rip it all out? (Likely not!) Start from the beginning, pick up something forgotten, or fine-tune your technique. I teach shorter clinic sessions focused on troubleshooting or longer sessions where you can learn something new.
