About Me
Vanessa Da Costa, MPH, is the Founder, CEO, and Lead Data Consultant of Chilombo Consulting. She has 10 years of experience in data collection, management, analytics, visualization, and dashboard development. Vanessa is also a Public Health Career Consultant with extensive experience developing and presenting career development content for public health professionals. She previously led resume, job searching, and career strategy presentations for the American Public Health Association, Association of Black Researchers, Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and STEMNoire. From January 2019- June 2023 Vanessa founded and led a career consulting companythat provided resume, cover letter, essay, LinkedIn profile, and mock interview services to a diverse population of 200+ clients in 13 countries and 3 continents, leading to 93% of clients receiving at least one job interview or job offer. Vanessa is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer with experience working in a University setting, Federal Government (CDC, USAID) as a contractor in the U.S. and abroad, and with U.S. based nonprofits and small businesses through her consulting work.
