About Me

Hello! My name is Caiden Flowers and I study Tuba Performance at the Pennsylvania State University. In addition to tuba performance I am pursuing a minor in jazz performance. I am a freelance tubaist based in Central Pennsylvania and have performed in a myriad of musical ensembles throughout PA. My musical experiences include wind ensembles, marching bands, brass bands, big bands, jazz combos, tuba euphonium ensembles, pit orchestras, tuba euphonium quartets, brass quintets, and a number of small chamber ensembles. I primarily play CC and Eb tubas as well as BBb sousaphone. I also have experience on euphonium, trombone and bass. I have taught students on tuba, euphonium, baritone, and trombone. I have had students place first in various PMEA district and regional festivals. I have a love for teaching the world of low brass and sharing my passions with my students. I believe that music is a must in a balanced life and I aim to promote a healthy musical lifestyle.
