Crochet has been my hobby for 34 years. I want to help you learn, and love, crochet. Every fiber artist has been stuck on a pattern at some point along their journey. I can help with understanding patterns, reading charts, making special stitches, and avoiding hand fatigue. I've taught adults and children. Do you have a quick question? Book a short time slot with me. Tap into my many years of practicing the craft and I will do my best to guide you and help you overcome your crochet challenges.
Amigurumi (stuffed yarn creatures made by crochet or knit) can create all kinds of things. When following a pattern, if you do not have enough stitches at the end of a round, just add one. If you have too many stitches, just decrease one, or skip the next increase. Minor adjustments like these rarely adversely affect the finished project. If you think your amigurumi isn't looking quite right and you feel like you want to frog it (means to rip it out, so called because frogs say "riiiip it"), first, trust the process. Relax your grip, drop your shoulders, breathe. Keep going for a few more rows. It might just be all right.
