About Me

Since 2013, I've given 1-on-1 training matched to personal learning styles, experiences, and especially the desired outcome of creative professionals. It's high-level technology training, looking at specific skills, mindset hurdles or technical challenges you may be facing. "I've watched hours of videos, but it's not working. What am i doing wrong?" — that's usually the question that starts this process. We all have access to informational videos and tools, but finding the specific help you need can be overwhelming. There is so much free training out there that it is hard to get the big picture or understand your specific problem while following 100 people's different teaching styles. I will work with you through the personal skills and technical challenges of your specific project or workflow, and help you understand the process and find the tools you need. Getting a good understanding of the technology will unlock all kinds of learning available to you. Here's how most of my students prefer to work together. We share your screen as you demonstrate the work you are trying to do, with my guidance. We may set up systems, a process or a workflow that works for you. As you become more efficient we can work directly on your professional project, or on a similar project. Immediate success is my goal starting with the first session, so you have skills and new training you can practice to move you forward. Pursuing design for book publishing, photography, video editing, and websites, I value the work experience, mentorship, and self-learning I've completed along the way much more than my degree.
