About Me

I have been facilitating and coaching esports in schools for over 5 years. I have a Ph.D. in educational technology and I started one of the first middle school esports teams in the United states years ago. I have coached a variety of esports titles including, Rocket League, Knockout City, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Chess, etc. to name a few. I know how to get students beyond the game so students can start to learn from gaming. I can help you start an esports team/program at your school. I can get your students to compete against other schools, and I can help setup the scholastic side of things so students are able to stream their games, create content from their games, and push themselves beyond the gaming space to help them learn from the games they play. I was the first in the world to publish the a research based peer-reviewed scholastic esports research anthology titled, "Esports Research and Its Integration in Education". I am a streamer, professor of education, middle school teacher, author, and curriculum designer. I can help you bring games in education in a variety of ways. I also a highly skilled Rocket League player and I can help you or talk to your class/team about how to play better from beginner to advanced. I can show you tools and resources to help you get better and to push your play to the next level.
