About Me

Music started for me at age 12. I learned classical upright bass in my school orchestra and started singing and playing guitar in my own rock band. (picture quintessential garage band!) We had a blast. The obsession grew and grew over the years and I eventually graduated from Atlanta Institute of Music and began touring full time in the country, rock, folk, gospel genres as a tour-manager, music-director, bassist, and guitarist. I started teaching and mentoring other musicians at age 16 and recently resigned from a director position at a private music school in North Atlanta. While a big part of my heart is in the studio and live-event space, teaching will always fulfill me. Some areas of focus that I could help you with would be: guitar / bass guitar / upright bass (any level), ear training, music production, rehearsing a band, artist development, songwriting, sacred music, tour managing, music directing, and music career coaching.
